Do I need to make an appointment?
No appointments are necessary for standard Canadian Passport Photos for adults and children over the age of 2 years old. We recommend an appointment if you need a passport photo for children under the age of 2 years old, or a business portrait.

How long does it take?
In most cases, passport and ID photos are ready within 5 minutes. More time may be required if you require a special size or if multiple prints are needed.

How many photos do I get?
You will receive 2 colour photos that are identical in size.

Where do I get a passport application?
Standard Canadian Passport application forms are available at any outlet of Canada Post.

What should I wear?
We are required to shoot your Canadian Passport against a white background. It is strongly recommended that you do NOT wear a white or light coloured blouse, shirt or jacket. All other colours are acceptable. 

Do I need a passport to travel in the USA?
Yes .. Canadians require a passport to legally enter the USA.

Who can sign my passport?
You may require a guarantor to sign. We cannot do this for you. Please check your documentation.

Can I get a digital copy of my ID photo?
Yes .. we can provide you with a digital copy of your ID photos. Extra charges will apply. If you require a digital copy of your ID photo, please bring a USB flash drive with you. You may also purchase a USB flash drive in our store. We will not email digital ID photos under any condition.

Do you shoot International ID Photos?
Yes .. we can look after your Canadian Citizenship Photos, visa's, foreign citizenship, firearms acquisition certification, or just about an other International ID Photos (excluding Dutch passports). Please bring your application forms with you as the requirements for other photo sizes, signature and date stamp will be different than a Canadian Passport photo.

Do you shoot Colour or Black & White Photos?
We normally shoot passport and ID photos in colour .. however we can print your ID photos in black & white for no additional charge.

Do you do passports for babies and small children?
Yes .. we specialize in passport photos for babies and small children. There is an additional charge for babies and small children as extra work is often required to ensure that their photos are acceptable to the passport office. Children under the age of 2 may need an appointment.

Can I smile?
Smiles are not allowed for Canadian Passport Photos. Your face must have a relaxed, neutral expression.

Can I wear glasses?
There is a very high probability that passport photos and ID photos taken with glasses will be rejected. We strongly recommend that you remove your glasses when your photo is taken .. even if you normally wear glass all the time. We do not guarantee passport photos if you are wearing glasses.

What happens if my photo is rejected?
Our professional photographers will do their best to ensure that your passport photo or ID photos meets requirements .. however we are only human. If your passport or ID photos are rejected, we will reshoot them at no charge AND provide you with a full refund. Please have the rejection notice and original photo with you when you come in. Please note that we cannot guarantee international ID photos if you do not have your application forms with you when you initially have your photos taken.
